SURU was born with a great gift. When he played his drums, people were transported to higher dimensions. Many were healed. He was a multi-talented instrumentalist and ethno-musicologist, who came to America 20 years ago through the Nigerian cultural exchange program. Those exotic African rhythms that are now so familiar, came to us from his heart, through his hands
